The world does not want you to be healthy. All you have to do is pay attention to what is going on around you to realize this as a fact.
Every time that you turn on the television, you will be bombarded by advertisements for this pill, or that pill that you ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO HAVE...or so they are trying to convince you!
The enemy (Satan) wants you to believe that you are unhealthy, he wants to make you think that you need medicine at ALL TIMES....why?
1. HE WANTS YOU TO BE AN ADDICT.
We are quick to judge those who are addicted to Meth, or Crack, or Heroin...and yet we turn a blind eye to those people who are addicted to "prescription" drugs. Addiction to prescription drugs is just as damaging as an addiction to "illegal " drugs. And I'm not talking just about a physical addiction. I am talking about psychological addiction as well.
Addicts are easily controlled, and that is what the enemy wants. He wants control in your life. He wants just a single opening where he can come in and wreak havoc.
The Word of God tells us that the enemy "walks about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour". The enemy is constantly looking for a way to destroy you! He hates you, because you remind him of GOD. You are made in the image of God, and that is an image that the enemy wants to defile. He can't touch God, so he seeks to "touch" you.
